Daddy, Saying goodbye to you yesterday was one of the hardest days of my life. I feel an emptiness inside of me that is unexplainable. Thank you for watching over me and getting me through my speech. I wanted to make you proud. I still can’t believe you are gone! I am grateful for the 41 years I’ve had with you. I will cherish those moments forever but I wish I had more time. One of your favorite quotes was, “There is only one happiness in this world, to love and to be loved.” That is exactly what you were, so deeply loved. Danny talked to your every night for at least 3 hours. Family?my dad was a gentleman. Same for you. I will always love you. Forever and ever Amen

I hear the names you said every day out loud in my mind. Wolfie! Dipper! Crow! My Little Angels. Grandson! Mickster! Buddy boy-boy! Kid! Your phrases and words repeat in my mind too. It's all about the chicken. Let's go get a piece of fish. Soup is so good. Roll one up! Root it in for me Mickster! Go get em. Let's go smell some perfume. That's my Tracy. That's my Lori. That's my Tara. Friends and family can still hear your laugh and see you smile. You were passionate about everything in life. You loved your friends and Family, especially Dingles and Spumoni. You played music and Elvis around the clock, every day. Movies, how many did we watch together? Food, you loved to go out and eat! You loved your eggs, making your shakes, and eating ice cream. Clothing, from your alligator and ostrich boots, to all your outfits and accessories for every occasion and season. Every time I see a black corvette, a cigarette speed boat, a sailboat, I think of you. You loved your booze, Chivas and Anisette. Women. You loved women! And that's an understatement! And because of your faith in God, sins are understood and-or forgiven. However, you were always Class. Thank you for accepting me 25 years ago. Thank you for teaching me about aspects of life that only you could. Thank you for countless memories and nights out. Thank you for forgiving me when I let you down and hurt you. Thank you for being you to all of us. I have missed and will always miss our everyday laughs and conversations.

May you rest in peace, Mike. I have many fond memories of you and all the good times we had back in the day. I’ll always remember you.
