Mary Sanitate Thurston, on January 13, 2022, of Mantua. Age 54. Devoted mother of Joshua Sanitate. Dear sister of David Roche (Betsy), Richard Sanitate (Stacey), and Jackie Kohl (Thomas). Loving grandmother of Amelia and Aiden. Loving daughter of the late George and Christine Ellick.

Mary was a loving mother and a caring grandmother. She had no greater joy in life more than spending time with her grandchildren Amelia and Aiden. The time spent playing, coloring, laughing and loving will be cherished forever.

Mary had so much love to give that it spilled over to her love of dogs. She always had a voice for those who didn’t. She was an ASPCA advocate and gave what little she had to those who had none.

The light Mary left on her family will guide them for generations.

Family and friends are invited to attend her visitation Wednesday 9:00 – 11:00 am at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Road, Washington Twp. Funeral Service 11:00 am. Interment following at Hillcrest Memorial Park, Washington Twp.
