Mary Isabella Bensing (nee Gilmour), on January 26, 2018, of Sicklerville.  Age 96.  Beloved wife of 54 years to the late George William Bensing.  Cherished daughter of the late James and Helen Gilmour.  Devoted mother of Barbara L. Peters (the late Tom), George W. Bensing (Marci) and Susan C. Smith.  Loving grandmother of Brian Bensing (Melanie), Lisa Bensing, Kevin McLaughlin (step-grandson), Susan Morris, Patricia Geisenheimer (Bill), Craig Connery (Darlene), Steve Connnery (Kim), Steven Smith, Robert Smith, Jennifer Smith, and John Smith.  Also survived by numerous great and great-great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.  Dear sister of the late James “Buddy” Gilmour.

Mary worked for the Lit Brothers Department Store in Willow Grove, PA for many years until moving to NJ where she then worked many more years for Mechanics Auto Parts, Inc., a business owned by her son George and his partners.

Mom enjoyed traveling, participating in ceramics classes and enjoyed many other crafts throughout her life.  She loved her “stuff” particularly her snow baby and bird collections (cardinal love!).  She was active in Shenandoah Village where she lived for 35 years; a highlight being involved in the Red Hat Society.

Services will be private for the family.
