Mary G. Meagher (nee Rue), 70, of Washington Township, New Jersey, passed away surrounded by the love of her family.
Born in 1956, Mary was born and raised in Southwest Philadelphia before making her home in Washington Township, New Jersey, where she spent many years.
Mary dedicated much of her career to McDonald’s, where she worked in restaurant management. She was known for her strong work ethic, leadership, and the relationships she built with coworkers and customers throughout the years.
Above all, Mary loved her family. She enjoyed spending time with those she loved and never missed an opportunity to celebrate birthdays, holidays, graduations, and other special occasions. She also loved music, concerts, trips to the beach, and looking at the stars. Her kindness, generosity, and fun-loving spirit will be remembered by everyone who knew her.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Johanna Rue, and her sister, Lorraine Rue.
She is lovingly survived by her siblings: Russell (Judy) Rue, James (Saida) Rue, Patricia Little, Richard (Philomena) Rue, Maureen (Mike) Null, Rita (Joe) Gasper, and David (Christine) Rue. She also leaves behind many cherished nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will miss her deeply.
Mary’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
The family is grateful for the love, prayers, and support they have received during this difficult time.
Family and friends are invited to attend her visitation Monday 10:30 am – 12:00 pm at SS. Peter & Paul Roman Catholic Church, 362 Ganttown Road, Washington Twp. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12:00 pm. Interment St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Chews Landing.
