Dear Chip & Family, I always liked your mom and respected her quite a bit. She was a good woman and she will most certainly be missed. But as you already know, she is in a much better place now. And I'm willing to bet she is with your dad again and they are both very happy. And of course Nan is there too thinking about the good old days with Vince Nuzzo. : "Ahhhhh that's ain't NOTHING""" All kidding aside, your mom was a special lady and I'm glad I had the honor to know her. Many a pizza was devoured, and gallons of soda at that kitchen table... and bless Mom, she even put up with our singing and guitar playing. She was a hell of a lady, and a true sweetheart. My thoughts and wishes are with you all at this time, for the world has a bit less color in it now that she is gone. God blessed her with you, may God now keep her for you......

Marianne Rager Daughter left a message on November 11, 2009:
My mom wasn't perfect, but she had some amazing qualities. She was strong, funny & outgoing. She never had a shortage of friends. Growing up, our house was lovingly referred to as Grand Central Station. She loved to sing, and to hear others sing. I remember my mom telling me that she wanted me to play my guitar & sing at her funeral. I told her that i was going to be focused on trying to "Breath" at her funeral! She wanted her passing to be a time of laughter, not tears! As a child growing up, I always knew that I was loved. There was never a shortage of hugs, & we always said "I love you"! My mom had a very strong sense of JUSTICE. I cant tell you how many times she would say, "What you do for one, you do for the others". She valued family & friendship above all. She loved being around other people and Lord knows she loved shopping! She loved being a grandmother and she would do anything for those kids. They will miss her terribly, and we will too.
