Martin J. Brennan, Sr.
On January 14, 2022 of Washington Twp. Age 81. Beloved husband of Rosemary (nee Shannon). Devoted father of Martin J. Brennan, Jr., Kathleen Doyle (Joseph), Rosemary Hirst (Scott), Patricia Ecker (Michael), Dennis Brennan, Maureen Marsh (Francis), Matthew Brennan, and Eileen Brennan (Andy). Loving grandfather of Joseph, Allyson(David), Mikaela(Michael), Martin III(Christine), Jessica(Russell), Tyler, Scott, Robert, Emily, Jacob, Eian, John, Luciano, Patrick, Marykate, Sean, and Matthew. Proud great-grandfather of Chase, Avery, Brennan, Ellie, Beau, Mackenzie, Jax, Brady, Gemma, and Luca. Dear brother of Teresa Nyhus (Edward), brother in-law of Francis and the late Helen Kunicki, and Joseph Cole. Many loving nieces and nephews.
Martin was born to Martin and Mildred Brennan in Philadelphia in 1940. The youngest of nine children, Martin lived in South Philadelphia until he met his wife of 59 years, Rosemary. Together they started their life in Washington Township, there they raised 8 children.
Martin worked as printer for over 40 years- he had an incredible work ethic and passion for his trade.
He loved Philadelphia sports teams, the Mummers Strut, the casino, golfing, and a glass of Paisano. Spending time with his beloved wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren was his greatest joy.
Family was incredibly important to Martin. Affectionally known as “Pop” to so many, he was kind, generous, and funny. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Family and friends are invited to attend his viewing Sunday 6:00-9:00 PM at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Rd., Washington Twp. and Monday 10:15-11:15 AM at the Church of The Holy Family, 226 Hurffville Road, Washington Twp. Mass of Christian Burial 11:30 AM. The family requests that masks be worn.
