Sally & Peter Grottini left a message on March 19, 2014:
Our dear sweet Uncle Mario, where do I begin. The first time I met you was at Aunt Ozzie’s house in Philly. It was to be my first meeting of the whole family (with the exception of Barb, she was out cavorting with Eddie). Alas the family left it up to Peter to get me to Ozzie’s on time and that he did, in just over two hours, a drive that would normally take others approximately four hours. I remember your face as you asked Peter, “No kiddin’, you really made it here in two hours? And you stopped to get cake?” Your jokes, your smile, your love of family are what made you shine within the soul of us all. Your time on earth was too short, but you had filled that time to the fullest with your laughter, your stories, and your love, thus leaving us all with celebrated memories and for that I thank you. May God bless and keep you sheltered in his arms, and may your angelic support reach out and envelop the family that has been left behind. You will be deeply missed. Love always, Sally & Peter

"Do not stand at my grave and weep, I am not there, I do not sleep." "I am a thousand winds that blow; I am the diamond glints on snow." "I am the sunlight on ripened grain; I am the gentle autumn's rain." "When you awaken in the morning's hush, I am the swift uplifting rush Of quiet birds in circled flight." "I am the soft star that shines at night." "Do not stand at my grave and cry." "I am not there; I did not die." I am very sorry for your family's loss. Jennifer Cook
