Father Hughes left a message on June 22, 2020:
Ronnie, I just want to express my condolences. I fondly remember your mom. She was a beautiful and graceful woman. Please know that I offered Mass for her on Friday and for all of you. May you have a share of the peace that she now enjoys in God’s presence. Best to your girls as well. Love, Father Hughes.

Aunt Marie, As I sit here wondering just what 'the right words' are to say about you, the song "Gentle Mother' is playing over and over in my mind. This absolutely brings me to tears, but at the same time brings me strength to honor you by doing right by OUR family, brings me comfort knowing you will forever be watching over me and my baby girl, and brings me courage to live with kindness like YOU showed me. I smile picturing your smile being greeted by Uncle O and MiMi. I love you; I'll miss you; I'll be seeing you XO Shanny

Loving, kind, compassionate and someone who always cared more about giving to others than about herself. These words are being repeated many times by those who loved you. A wonderful wife, mother and grandmother/mentor to to my 2 daughters. It is now time to reap the reward of a life well lived by taking your spot in Heaven which was reserved for you long ago. I would like to respectfully address you one more time as I had the honor of doing for many years. Love you MOM rest in peace.

Our Aunt Marie, no words can describe what a compassionate, loving women she was, full of wisdom, strength and optimism. She truly was our matriarch, for many of us the center of every like event, our births, christenings, graduations, weddings, and illness's. I know we had the privilege of having her with us for 93 years but it wasn't long enough.... just a little bit longer.... we wished. I believe she is now with our dear Uncle O, Maryann ( Mimi) and all those she loved who have entered the pearly gates ahead of her. I look forward to being with her again someday and will miss her terribly until then.
