Marie G. DiSalvatore

(nee Piro) on September 18, 2025, of Washington Twp.  Age 86.  Beloved wife of Luciano DiSalvatore.  Devoted mother of Maria DiSalvatore, Gemma Barker and the late Jerome DiSalvatore and Louie DiSalvatore.  Loving grandmother of Antonia and Nicholas.  Cherished daughter of the late Nicholas and Mary (nee Manco) Piro.  Dear sister of the late Nicholas and Angelo.  Caring sister-in-law of Bertha.

Marie was known for cooking for an army and always in a nightgown and barefoot as much as she could. She enjoyed to have coffee and a cigarette. She truly loved her kids and grandkids with unconditional love, and protected them unconditionally.

When Lou retired, she said that’s when she’ll retire cooking and she did!

She loved holidays and brought everyone up to have faith. She insisted on Sunday dinners and holidays with the whole family there.

There was always such a light around my mother and Lou leaned a lot on her to handle a lot and she did. A dedicated wife.

There are no words to describe how much she will be missed.

Family and friends are invited to attend her viewing Tuesday 9:00 – 11:00 am at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Road, Washington Twp.  Funeral Service 11:00 am.  Interment St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Chews landing.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Marie’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
