(nee Giannetti) On October 28, 2014 of Washington Twp. Age 94. Beloved wife of 75 years to the late Guerino DiStefano. Devoted mother of Marcellino (Peggy), Fernando (Virginia), Margherita Leary (Herbert), Aldo (Christine), Elisa Mackenzie (Ken), AnnaMarie (James), Sergio, John (Carrie) and Lorella DiStefano. Loving grandmother of 14. Proud great-grandmother of 17. Dear sister of Maria Salvi.
Maria was a devoted mother to her nine children, especially her youngest daughter, Lorella. Maria is the founder of “DiStefano’s Country Deli” in Turnersville. With her quick wit and charm, she managed to establish the deli as a prosperous local business, while raising her children. Her engaging smile, sparkling eyes and loving ways will be sadly missed by her family.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Friday 9:30-11:00 am at the Church of the Holy Family 226 Hurffville Road, Washington Twp. Mass of Christian Burial 11:30 am. Entombment will be private for the family. Arrangements are under the care of the Egizi Funeral Home, Washington Twp. Condolences may be shared with the family at www.egizifuneral.com
