Dear Wolf, My sincerest condolences on the passing of your mother. I had the pleasure of working with your mom years ago on a volunteer activity. She was such a pleasant upbeat Christian woman. I told her my connection to you going back to elementary school! She smiled when I referred to you as Wolfie. Peace and comfort to you and your family.

For many, Margot was a wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. For us in Mexico, she was also something more: she was a symbol: Tía Margot. She was the youngest sister who crossed borders, the one who married and emigrated, who built a life far away — and yet never stopped belonging. Whenever we knew she was coming to visit, our homes and our hearts prepared for her. We waited with genuine excitement. She would arrive impeccable, always beautiful, a true lady in every sense of the word. Her elegance was not only in her appearance; it was in the way she spoke, the way she carried herself, the way she told a story. We would sit and listen. Her stories about New Jersey, about her life there and her family, opened windows to another world for us. And in her absence, her siblings would speak of her with deep affection, remembering how she had always been the cherished and protected youngest sister. That feeling never changed — Margot was, and will always be, deeply loved. One story I treasure above all is the love story she once shared with me about her and Uncle Wolf. It began with an encounter so unlikely it almost seemed impossible — and yet it felt as though it had always been meant to happen. As if it had been written long before they ever met. She told it not with drama, but with the calm certainty of someone who had lived a true love, patiently built day by day. In her voice there was pride, tenderness, and quiet gratitude. For you, she is part of your everyday history. For us, she was also a bridge, an inspiration, and a luminous presence every time she returned home. Her life was not only the one she built there, but also the one she left rooted here. We will always remember her elegant, smiling, telling stories — and profoundly loved.

I met my dear Aunt Margot when she came to Mexico about 35 years ago. I remember being impressed by her elegance and personality and the fact that she spoke fluent Spanish, which was unexpected. It was always fun to talk with her and spending time every time she visited. I remember her with great affection. May she rest in peace in heaven alongside her beloved husband. Dear cousins, we send our deepest condolences.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Margot and I shared a love of the Southwest for its characteristics; hummingbirds, tamales, cactus, and blue skies, sunshine and warmth. Now she is with her Lord, for whom she had deep reverence, in a joyful place beyond our imaginations. Hasta luego, Margot ❤️ You will show me the way of life, granting me the joy of your presence and the pleasures of living with you forever. Psalm 16: 11.

It is with a sad heart that I heard of the passing of Margot. We were next door neighbors for 58 years and I will miss her friendly waves as we crossed paths coming and going throughout the years, but most of all I will miss our pleasant chats over the fence as the years passed us by. After a life well lived may my sweet friend rest easy in the arms of Our Lord! 🙏🏻💐🙏🏻
