We have all lost a very special lady who loved her family and was so very proud of them. We all enjoyed her stories about all of you. I will always remember our Tuesday and Wednesday morning critiques of Dancing With the Stars. Tristan was our favorite professional and we always hoped he'd get a partner who could go the distance. My deepest sympathy to all her family and friends. Know that Peggy will be missed and remembered with love. Judy Holmes
Mary Ann C. Gonzales left a message on February 3, 2014:
I was so sad to hear about Peggy’s sudden passing. She was a wonderful mother to her loving children and a close and dear friend to me. She was family to me and my daughters “Aunt Peggy”. The kindness through the years, from Peggy and her family, my daughter and I will never forget. I still recall her taking my daughter to grade school when I was sick. This past June, Peggy, Joe and Anna helped with my daughter's graduation party. I will cherish our talks and her advice. I am grateful for the GSC owl that she gave me. She was a true friend. My daughter, Mary Colleen and I love and will miss her. Our condolences, to her family and friends. Mary Colleen and I are always here for you. With prayers, Mary Ann

Joe Murtha left a message on February 5, 2014:
On behalf of my family I'd like to thank everyone from Rowan for their kind words and for sharing their love of our mother. She was lucky to be part of your family for 31 years. She liked it there so much I thought she would never retire! As long as she could walk she was determined to go to work. She loved telling us stories about all of you as much as she loved telling you about us. Thank you all for being part of her life.
