My memories go way back with Mr. Solari. We used to have a baseball field between our 2 yards until Kurt Kohler hit a ball that hit the Solari roof. Mr. Solari put a pool in to stop that nonsense. Lou and Palma were great neighbors and I have nothing but fond memories of them. Lou and Renee, please know that I have your mom and your families in my prayers. Your father was a good man and I am sure there is a part of Heaven that is like South Philly back in the day. He will be at 10th and Carpenter waiting for the love of his life with a big smile on his face. And yes, Bobby Rydell songs in the background. Rest in Peace Mr. Solari.

Lou, I am greatly saddened to hear that you are gone. Even though I didn't know you until later in life you were not only a good friend but a part of my family. You were a wonderful caring person and a great husband. I am sure your children thought you were an amazing father and grandfather. They loved you dearly and you raised an amazing family that you can be proud of. You had many accomplishments in life . You always kept Jamie and I laughing. And you and your family always treated me like family. Although you were one crazy driver and gave me a couple of scares.. I will think of you often and always keep you in my heart. I wish I could be there in person to give you a kiss on the cheek and see you one last time. May you be in peace, keep laughing and watch over your family . We will miss you.
