Leon C. Seccia
On November 30, 2017 of Washington Twp. Age 75. Beloved husband of Patricia “Trish” (nee Vilotti). Devoted father of Michael L. (Kimmie), Nicholas C., and Charles V. Seccia. Loving grandfather of Alex, Nicholas and Tyler. Dear brother of the late Raymond.
Leon loved the Philly sports teams especially the Phillies and eagles. his love for the Phils was epic. He loved the blazing sevens at the casino and pain went away immediately when he walked into the casino.
The thing he enjoyed most in life was attending his kids and especially his grandkids sporting events. He made every game and stayed fro start to finish. He bragged about his grandkids all the time.
Everyone that knew him knew he needed to have his enormous glass of ice that he used to chew on.
He had his own style of dress. He wore flashy shirts with his gold chains and gold bracelets. He wore bling before anyone knew what bling was. Kind of the way Joe Namath dressed out on the town. He dressed for himself and no one else
No matter where he went, there was always somebody that knew him. He was a man of few words but everyone loved him. His legacy is he was always there for his children, grandchildren and wife of 50 years. He was caring , compassionate, and unselfish. Leon was a wonderful husband, father, poppop, and friend to all of us.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Tuesday 6:00-8:00 PM at the Egizi Funeral Home 119 Ganttown Rd., Washington Twp. Funeral service 8:00 PM. Interment private.
