1943-2019 Lawrence N. Macolly Sr., better known as Uncle Larry, Dad, Pop-Pop, and Skippy a resident of Washington Township, New Jersey, formerly of Delaware County, PA passed away on March 22, 2019 at the age of 75 surrounded by his loving family. Larry was born on November 11, 1943 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Son of Charles S. And Jane Bloomer. Larry was a proud US Army Veteran, retired from the power department of Septa after thirty years. Since retiring he has held many jobs, most recent, which he was very proud of he held the position as an Uber driver. Little things meant a lot to Larry. He enjoyed spending the summer seasons in Wildwood, New Jersey. Family and friends were everything to Larry. He has made more people laugh and smile with his contagious personality. When Larry met people they never forgot him. He was a very sentimental person. In addition to his parents Larry is predeceased by his siblings Carole, Sid, and Georejean. He is survived by his former wife Yvonne, daughters Marguerite Vacchiano (the late James), Crystal Macolly (Lee), and Mary Hanna Minutolo (Mike), son Lawrence Macolly Jr. (Kim). He cherished his relationships with all of his grandchildren Marla, Luke, Lawrence III, Charles, and Madelyn. He is survived by his siblings Marilyn, Gina, Kathy, and Eleanor. Larry is also survived by many nieces and nephews he adored each and everyone of them. His last years were filled with making beautiful memories such as spending time with family and friends, designing his room known as the Marina, taking trips with his sister Marilyn lovingly known as Wanda to North Wildwood, whale watching with K-rod and Mousy in Cabo, Mexico, and he fulfilled his dream of being a jockey riding Smartytime. Larry made an instant connection with every single person he met filled with love, laughter, and inside jokes. His drive to live his life and not let anyone stop him from having a good time is admirable. He connected with people by his memories, nicknames, one-liners, dance parties, kazoos, and that little black “pill music box” that somehow made its way everywhere he went. Always remember to stay groovy and party on. “See ya at Lilly Whites have a nice dream”.
