We were sad to hear the news of Larry O’Donnell passing. We met Larry through Holy Family Church and the choir. A few years ago, we were readers at my cousin. Dominic Angelucci requiem mass in South Philadelphia. Looking out to the congregation we spotted Larry. We learned that Larry was a friend and neighbor of the Angelucci family of Pierce Street. Larry was the consummate Catholic gentleman who never forgot his roots. Rest in Peace friend.
Rev. Robert E. Hughes left a message on January 25, 2024:
I just want to offer my condolences on the passing of Larry - he read the Scriptures at so many daily Masses and served in the Sunday and Funeral Choir so faithfully at Holy Family during my time as pastor there. He was a joy to speak with about so many topics...and he always had a compliment in hand for anyone he came across. I offered Mass for him as I cannot make his funeral Mass tomorrow. May God give him a well-deserved rest and all who love him a share in the peace that he now enjoys.
Joe & Linda St.Clair left a message on January 24, 2024:
For several years Uncle Larry joined us in Corolla, North Carolina at the Outer Banks for our annual family reunion. Our dinners were always highlighted by his lively limericks. In the early years Aunt Mimi joined him before she went to heaven. Uncle Larry proudly carried their wedding photo in his wallet. What a beautiful couple! We will remember him always with love as a decent, loving, fun, man of faith. Rest in peace, dear Uncle Larry. The St.Clairs, McKenzies, Burns and O'Donnells

So saddened by the loss of Uncle Larry. A picture of some of his favorite nieces, nephews brother and sister-in-law in the Outer Banks. Always many laughs with Uncle Larry.
