Kenneth W. McLawhorn

Passed away suddenly on January 5, 2026, of Washington Twp. Age 35. Beloved husband of Andriana Markano. Devoted father of Jackson Wayne McLawhorn and Roxanne Camille McLawhorn. Loving son of Kenneth and Tonya McLawhorn. Dear brother of Janna Tyndall (Joel), John McLawhorn (Rebekka), and Trey McLawhorn. Dear grandson of Henry and Lana Davis and Emma Coombs. Cherished son-in-law of Gerard and Suzanne Markano.

He enjoyed discovering a newfound love of golf, traveling with friends and family, and sharing his love of cooking with those closest to him. He was a proud graduate of The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he met his wife Andriana, and he went on to build a meaningful 11-year career at KPMG. More than anything, he loved being a father—his greatest joy and proudest role—pouring his heart into his children and finding purpose in every moment spent with them.

Family and friends are welcome to attend his visitation Monday, January 12^th 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Rd., Washington Twp. Life celebration 8:00 PM.

Anna Lee, please know that I am thinking about you and your children during this incredibly difficult time. I am so sorry.

Kenny was a true friend. The type that could be & was friends with everyone. Kind to all, funny, genuine and always willing to lend a hand. He brought out the best in those around him. We shared so many memories going back to our days at APA, continuing through our time rooming together in Chapel Hill. Storming Franklin St. after a national championship, so many meals together at Rams Head and fun nights in Ehaus and Avery. I can still vividly remember the day he first spotted Andriana across the dorm. Andriana & McLawhorn family - I’m heartbroken and so deeply sorry for your loss. Keeping all of you in my continued prayers.

My family has known Kenny & his family for many years. Kenny was in the 6th grade when I began teaching computers at Parrott Academy in Kinston, NC, although we knew him before that. His mother & his Aunt Staci both currently still teach there. After school, Kenny, Mayce Murphrey, & my son would come to the computer lab to play games. All of Kenny's family are good people - friendly, helpful, kind, funny, intelligent, athletic - all around good people. My heart aches for his wife & children, for his parents & siblings, for his relatives, & his friends. He will be missed by so many. We love you Kenny. ❤️🥺💔🙏🏻✝️
