Ellen Trewin left a message on March 19, 2026:
Kathy and I were friends for over fifty years and I have so many great memories with her. Vacations, Friday night cards, holidays. Kathy made me laugh more than anyone. I think the only time she called out of work is when she wrenched her knee and needed surgery from dancing at my 50th anniversary. Oh how she loved to dance and how she loved to sing! Kathy knew every word and could mime them to make us laugh. I love her will miss her so much.
Lisa Trewin Grossets left a message on March 19, 2026:
What can I say? The Trewins met the Sheperds in 1970 (give or take a year), some of my first memories. We were so close, first in Bellmawr, living across the street, where we had so many great times and then in WT to continue the Instant friendship that lasted a lifetime. “Mrs. Shepherd,” then after 35 years, Kathleen……this force of nature was absolutely one-of-a-kind! I cherish The memories and laughs I shared with her. Have to admit, I don’t know what this says about me but loved having someone shorter than me to throw my are around but at 5’ (generously - and she owned it!) she might as well have been a giant. Kathleen would grab your fave and kiss you right on the lips. I loved seeing the relationship with her and my parents and admire the bond she had with big Jim. The memories of their Friday night bridge games are seared in my brain and I can easily relive the annoyance of having to stay downstairs without being able to share the treats. But also how happy I was when they would bring Mike (and sometimes Greg) for me to play with. Nostalgic. Her passing is a loss to the world but her footprints left a lasting imprint only our hearts. Love to the whole Sheperd tribe.

Megan Gilleland Devine left a message on March 17, 2026:
Our hearts are broken, she was an amazing, beautiful person. She was our “second mom” and was a part of our lives for as long as I can remember. Prayers are extended to all of Kathy’s friends, family and loved ones - especially Jimmy, Mike and Greg. She is and always has been an important part of my family’s life and childhood. She is loved and missed already. Hugs and kisses from the Gillelands. Xoxoxo
