Kathleen Cook

(nee Corba) On January 22, 2022 of Washington Twp. Age 85. Beloved wife of the late Edward. Devoted mother of Linda Dilks (the late Walter), Edward Cook (Cheryl), and Carolyn Panna (Louis). Loving grandmother of Daria (Tom), Tina (Walt), Kathy, Linda (Joe), Eddie, Dana, Erica, Gabriella, and Nick. Proud great-grandmother of Tommy, Alexis, Kayla, Jake, Frankie, Olivia, Camryn, and Avery. Dear sister of Eleanor Fecanin, the late John and Dorothy Corba, the late Robert and Grace Corba, and the late Joseph Corba. Loved by many nieces and nephews.

Kathleen was born and raised in South Philadelphia. She married Ed (Hank) and had three children, nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.  She moved from the city to Washington Twp. Her favorite thing to do was go to the casinos, out to dinner, and shopping with her grandchildren. She also loved talking on the phone and spent a lot of time reading books and never missed getting the Philadelphia Daily News. She had a special bond with her grandchildren and loved them more than anything. They could do no wrong in her eyes and she loved spoiling them. She was very generous and always willing to help others. She was so much fun to be with and will be missed by everyone.

Family and friends are invited to attend her viewing Thursday 10:15 – 11:45 AM at SS. Peter & Paul RC Church, 362 Ganttown Rd., Washington Twp. Mass of Christian Burial 12:00 PM. Interment St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Chews Landing.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Kathleen’s memory may be made to Samaritan Healthcare & Hospice, 3906 Church Rd., Mt. Laurel, NJ 08054-1108.
