Karla F. Sori (nee Fritz) on October 6, 2016, of Washington Twp. Age 61. Beloved wife of Robert A. Sori. Devoted step-mother of Jeffrey R. (Stacy), Tara Iona (John), and Shawn R. (Tiffany). Loving daughter of Helen (nee Tancredi) and the late Charles H. Fritz. Loving grandmother of Giancarlo, Giulianna, Shannon, Josey and Grace.
Karla will be remembered as a fun, sweet, spunky, affectionate woman with an infectious laugh. She loved pumpkin pie and blue cheese dressing, the colors pink and green, Bath & Body Works Raspberry Shower Gel, Estee Lauder’s fragrance Beautiful, and the movies Pretty Woman and Moonstruck. But most of all, she loved people. She savored time with her family and friends and truly enjoyed meeting new people. Karla could talk to anyone and did! Due to her open and kind nature, she made a lasting impression on everyone her beautiful spirit touched.
She never complained, was always positive, and even when things weren’t going right she would shrug it off with her famous Oh well and move past whatever it was with a smile and her adorable snort laugh. The best way to describe Karla is to describe her answer to the question, How are you doing Karla? Her response would always be, How are you? The kids? Your job? (or whatever was important in your life). She cared more about knowing how others were than talking about herself.
She was adored by her step-children and grandchildren and cherished by her husband Bob. She will be deeply missed by all those who knew her and her family and close friends will forever be grateful for having had her in their lives.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Tuesday 8:15 – 10:15 AM at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Road, Washington Twp. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 AM at Mary, Mother of Mercy Parish – Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, Pitman. Interment All Saints Cemetery, Newfield
In lieu of flowers, donations in Karla’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1851 Old Cuthbert Road, Cherry Hill, NJ 08034. Condolences may be shared with the family at www.egizifuneral.com.
