Kareem is Survived by his father Walter, stepmother Genoa, one son Kareem the second. (Smooch); siblings Joseph, Kenyatta, Makebva, Jihad, Sharnell, Shantell, Gennies and Tawanna; stepsisters Tamla, and Tanya; Uncles Tony (Max) and Bruce (Yolanda), Aunts Denise (Kenny), Adrienne Chesney, Stephanie; a cousin more like a brother Mattaay; three best friends (more so his brothers) Joshua, Brian, Angel and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his mother Patricia, and stepfather Hank; brother Walter (Amir); Uncle Andrew, Aunt Deborah and Aunt Jacqueline;
Kareem was more than just a chef, he was an artist, a poet, a natural comedian, and above all a loving and proud father. He was more than just a family member or acquaintance; he was a best friend to everyone he came across. Whether you have known him your entire life or just in these past few years, he made sure to leave a lasting impact on any human who was graced with his presence. Kareem will forever be remembered as the most eccentric, loving, caring and understanding person anyone could ever wish to come across.
Family and friends are welcome to attend his viewing Monday, August 31st, 11:00 AM-1:00 PM at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Road, Washington Twp. Kareem’s Funeral service and life will be celebrated at 1:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Kareem’s memory may be made to The Bridge Bible Church.
