Justin Julius Niederman, (JJ) of Washington Twp, Age 19 passed away suddenly on February 12, 2021. He was the beloved son of Tanya (nee Frederick) and Justin Niederman. Dear brother of Grace Niederman and Carter Niederman. Loving grandson of Michelle Kramer (Joe), Bruce Niederman and Suzanne Frederick. Cherished nephew of Chad Niederman (Kimberly), Vincent Niederman and Mandy Robertson (Matt). Devoted cousin of Kiley Niederman, Chad Niederman, Evan Niederman and Skarlett Robertson. He is also survived and adored by many family members and friends.

JJ was a student at Rowan College of South Jersey pursuing a degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management. He played hockey for Bellmawr Bears Hockey and Black Horse Regional Ice Hockey teams for many years. He loved fishing and spending summers at the shore with his friends. He was looking forward to working his third summer at the Windrift in Avalon. He had a brilliant smile that lit up every room, an infectious laugh, and an amazing spirit. He loved tormenting his sisters in the most adoring way. JJ was a lover of all things, most of all, shoes and cars. His caring soul, quick wit and sense of humor, have touched so many of the lives that have crossed his path. He coined the term “Doey”…(if you know, you know).

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Friday 4:00 – 7:00 pm at Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Rd. Committal Service will take place Saturday at 10:00 am at Hillcrest Memorial Park, Washington Twp.

You do not know me but I want you to know that your son's passing has shaken me through to my soul. I too lost a son 5 years ago today from a similar situation and I know the pain you are feeling. It is a piercing pain like no other and you wonder how you will go on without him. He was your son, he made a mistake and this shouldn't have happened. You wonder how the world keeps going and your stuck in this horrible place dealing with the unimaginable. I didn't even know your son but I hurt for you. I cried for you and your family. But trust me, he will be with you always. You will see subtle signs of him, you will feel him and you will cry for him. But in time, you will feel better and begin to live the new normal without him. Scream, cry, yell but don't hold your hurt in. Talk of him all the time, share funny stories but don't hold what you feel inside. He is still part of your family and will forever be in your heart. Keep him safe tucked in there and talk to him often. You were his mom and even though your heart is broken now you will get through this. JJ was very good friends with my daughter, and seeing how hurt she is, shows just what an amazing young man he was. Having lost my brother 5 years ago tomorrow, much the same way as JJ was taken, makes this loss that much more heavy on our hearts. Another beautiful soul taken too soon, and a great family left to grieve and feel the void left in their hearts. My prayers go out to JJ's parents and sisters. The best advice I can offer is to speak of him often, laugh at the good memories, and keep his memory alive. Aways know that he is with you. I'm so very sorry for your loss.

justin and i have grown up together since kindergarten and the memories we’ve made since then will last forever. i’ll never forget in kindergarten him, i, and a few other friends got our very first detention for laughing at someone who peed and pooped his pants at the same time lmao. during all the years i’ve known justin it’s never been a dull moment. my prayers go to all of his family and his close friends during this tough time. sleep easy justin :(

Although I moved away from Jersey my freshman year of high school, I always considered Justin as one of my close friends. At 14/15 years old, he was my absolute favorite person. I vividly remember him always referring to me and my sister as his girlfriend during gym class lol. Even till this day, his contact is still saved as “Lil Justin” in my phone. The things I would do to be able to travel back in time and give him the biggest hug along with the ability to start over. He always was the life of the party. He always caused everyone around him to smile with his dry sense of humor and laugh. I’m so sorry this happened to you Justin. I hope you are no longer in pain with the brutalities life can impose from time to time. I love you so much, I wish I could’ve emphasized it more in your lifetime. Sitting here and thinking about you, I already know you’re the main character up there in heaven. Even though you may no longer be here with us, your legend will forever live on. I will be blasting your playlist till the end of time. My heart and condolences goes out to his friends and family, especially his mom, dad, and sisters. ILMOJJ.

Justin was in a number of my classes in high school and he was always a good time. I sat next to him in a lot of electives and one time we got detention together for messing around and had to sweep the floor clean. It’s funny looking back at times like that. I’ll be thinking about you Justin.

JJ was easily one of the funniest people I knew. He never failed to put a smile on my face no matter what kind of day I was having. He made the biggest impact on my life in such a short amount of time and he will be so incredibly missed.
