Julius A. Fedoryka, known by many as Fred or Freddy, passed away on
February 26, 2024 at the age of 85. Beloved husband of Barbara (nee
Costanza). Devoted father of Alexis DiTullio (Leonard), Christine
Morris (the late Robert), Vincent Fedoryka (Nicole), Anthony Fedoryka
(Roxann), and Michael Fedoryka (Tara). Loving grandfather of Michael,
Nicholas (Savanah), Monica, Nathan, Nadia, Nina, Vincent, Anthony,
Eric, Michael, and Julia. Dear brother of the late Catherine Arzano (the
late Angelo). Loved by nieces and nephews. Adored by many cats;
house, stray, foster, and all others that needed love in their life.
Born and raised in New York City, Julius proudly served in the United
States Air Force and afterwards, worked for the Brooklyn Navy Yard up
until its closure in 1966. Julius and his family then moved to Southern
New Jersey, where he was a long-time resident of Washington Twp. He
worked at the Philadelphia Naval Yard, followed by Herman Goldner
Co., up until his retirement at the age of 82; a testament to his notable
work-ethic.
Julius enjoyed every day spent with his family, especially
his 11 grandchildren, who would always be able to find their grandpa at
every sporting event, show, and art exhibit. He was an avid handyman
who enjoyed doing projects around the house, taking annual summer
trips with family, listening to music, and participating in craft shows
with his wife of nearly 64 years. His family will cherish the countless
memories they made with him.
Family and friends are invited to attend his visitation Friday, March 15th
10:45 – 11:45 AM at The Church of The Holy Family, 226 Hurffville
Rd., Washington Twp. Mass of Christian Burial 11:45 AM. Interment
Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Williamstown.
