Judith D. Knoettner
(nee Dougher) on January 9, 2026, of Blackwood, Age 83, went home to be with the Lord, and if heaven felt a sudden boost in joy & laughter-well, that would be her making her entrance. Devoted mother of Jeffrey Knoettner (Karen) and Jennifer White (Brian). Loving grandmother of Aiden, McKenzie and Tanner. Dear sister of William Dougher (Teri) and the late Thomas Dougher as well as Aunt to several nieces and nephews.
Judy was an Administrative Assistant for many years for local Realtors, including Joe Kiefer Realtors, where she made life long friendships.
Judy was one of those rare people who made the world feel lighter just by being in it. Fun-hearted, extremely generous, endlessly positive, and always had a gift for uplifting others without even trying. She had a way of telling you how it was, but with love. If you met her once, you remembered her. If you knew her longer, you loved her.
She loved The Lord with her whole heart and lived her faith out loud—through kindness, encouragement, and genuine concern for everyone around her.
She deeply cherished her many friendships and spoke often and fondly of the endless adventures and mischief created with her best of girlfriends over the years. The trips to the shore, mountains, dinner parties, bowling league, casinos, lunches with hidden water pistols…there was never a dull moment with Judy in the mix.
Above all, Judy adored her family. If you were to ask what her greatest life accomplishment was, she would tell you it was her two children.
Judy expressed happiness, care and peace living with her daughter Jennifer and son-in-law Brian. A home filled with love & laughter mixed with an occasional prank, to which she was the best sport. Judy was equally proud of her son Jeffrey along with her daughter in love, Karen, both gifted musicians, whose lives and accomplishments brought her immense joy. Her children were her heart, and she never missed a chance to let others know just how proud she was of them.
Her most prized title was “Grammy” to Aiden, Mckenzie and Tanner who were her absolute joys, her bragging rights, and her favorite reason to smile. Grammy was their biggest cheerleader, never far from the sidelines of their lives, always offering her wisdom & support. Her grandchildren truly adored her.
Judy leaves behind all the greatest examples of love, faith, selflessness and living life to the fullest. While she will be greatly missed, there’s comfort in knowing that heaven just got a whole lot brighter—and probably a lot louder!
