(nee D’Emilio) On December 14, 2019 of Washington Twp. Age 73. Beloved wife of Gregory T. Caponegro. Devoted mother of Gregory W. Caponegro (Leia) and Christopher D. Caponegro (Nicolle). Loving grandmother of Andrew, Zachary, Brando and Angelina. Dear sister of Ernest D’Emilio and Doreen O’Brien.

Family and friends are invited to attend her viewing Wednesday 9:00-11:00 AM at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Rd., Washington Twp. Funeral service 11:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Judith’s memory may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

I will always remember with a smile when I first met Judy at the airport in Philadelphia with my 4 month old baby - her grandson Brando. She swooped him up in a jiffy. She had barely said hi to me, of course I understood. We laughed about it after that and she said I was hard to miss with my “strawberry shortcake pink hair”. Love you, Judy.

Judith Ann, Nanny, mom,... You truly were a gift to have as a mother-in-law. My heart breaks that you aren’t tucked around my arm anymore. I’ll always treasure our laughs and the advice you gave me. I am so grateful for the last 5 years as well as the last moments I spent with you! I love you. See you in Heaven... sweet woman. ?

Mrs. Cap, what can i say other than im so happy i had finally met you in person, and of course you made me laugh, and showed how caring a woman you were. Chis and I always marveled how our parents were still together, and came from loving Italian families. I will miss your comments, hearts and laughter icons. You are already missed. You raised my best friend, and did a phenomenal job. You can rest easy now, knowing he and the rest of us are being the people we were raised to be.

Beautiful beautiful Judy you are loved by many and will missed by all. We will remember your smile, your contagious laugh and great hugs. Our talks were special which we will keep in our minds and hearts forever. It's too difficult to say goodbye so I will say God now has a very special Angel. Judy was such a fun person to be around! When she was in a room you knew where she was because of the laughing! I work with her years ago what a great lady! So sorry for your loss.

Greg, I am saddened to hear of this great loss to you and your family. I want to send my deepest and most sincerest condolence to you all. May you find strength and comfort through such a difficult time.

I'm so very sorry for your loss. Judy was always a pleasure to be around . She will always be remembered.

I love you so much. I will miss you everyday for the rest of my life. I know you will be forever in hearts and soul. There are no words to express the loss of such a wonderful lady. She had nothing but a huge heart and open arms to all. Our deepest sympathy to the family and friends. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Heaven gained a beautiful angel but way to soon. Judy you will be missed but many and always loved.

I don't want to forget to mention your kindness to our precious granddaughter Mercy. Though you only got to spend time with her on a couple of occasions, you were always sweet to her (on the phone too) and and got her such cute outfits too! Love to the family.

Dear Judy; thank you for your fierce and unconditional love for your family and especially Nicky and Brando. You and Greg opened your home and hearts to them and I am forever grateful! You were such a comfort and source of wisdom for Nicky. You are irreplaceable. I am glad I will see you again in Heaven. I am so happy that Jesus prepared a place for you in His Father's house! I am praying daily for Greg and the the family.

Dearest Judy, I will miss you so much. For the last 25 years you have been the ear that always listened, the woman with words of wisdom, and and a shoulder to lean on. I will miss our times at Donna’s and the lunches we had together and the stories we shared. You are in Heaven and I will smile every time I think of you and I know you are smiling down on me. I love you and will miss you so much.

We will miss you Aunt Jude ?. You were always the life of the party at our family get togethers...what wonderful memories I have and will cherish of you. Loved talking with you and laughing with you. Greg is my first cousin and I remember her being the nicest sweetest person. We lost touch over the years, but we did reconnect for a family reunion and a family dinner get together.
