Joseph Riggio, Jr.

On December 1, 2023, of Glassboro.  Age 85.  Beloved husband of the late Sandra (nee Pipino). Devoted father of Lisa Ruley (James), Joseph, III (Frank), and Nicholas Riggio (Noelia).  Loving grandfather of Lillian, Anna, and Nicholas.  Dear brother of Donald, Gerald, and the late Robert Riggio.  Loved by nieces and nephews.

Joe was born to Lillian and Romeo (Joe) on May 31, 1938.  He was raised in South Philadelphia.  Joe was blessed to have parents that instilled the value of family, that he passed down to his children and grandchildren.  Joe honorably served on active duty in the Army of the United States from 1958 – 1960. Joe worked his entire career in Information Technology.

Joe was married to his beloved wife Sandy for 61 years.  They raised their daughter and two sons in Marlton NJ. He was a proud and loving father and grandfather.

Joe enjoyed golfing, traveling, dancing with his wife, and spending time down the shore. He took pride in the way he looked and was always dressed to impress. Hosting parties was something he always looked forward to, especially Christmas Eve.  What made him happiest was spending time with his children and grandchildren. Joe will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Family and friends are invited to attend his viewing Thursday 8:15-10:15 AM at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Road, Washington Twp.  Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 AM at Mary, Mother of Mercy Parish/Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, Glassboro.  Entombment, St. Joseph Cemetery, Chews Landing.
