My dear neighbor for many years I will miss seeing you puttering around the yard taking care of your lawn and beautiful flowers. What I will miss the most is how you always took the time, as you were coming and going in your car, to always toot the horn and wave. One time the horn startled me and you rolled down your window and said “I was just saying hi”. That was my neighbor Joe. Sent with my condolences and love.

To my dear sister in law Renee and nephews Joseph & Mark. My heart is breaking for all of you and nothing I can say right now will take your pain away. When I think back to the first time I met Joe it was 1966 and he was my then boy friend Sam’s little brother. He was an adorable 11 boy who was always so sweet. When he became a teenager he met the love of his life Renee. Sam and I were married by then so you and Joe used to spend a lot of time at our house. We all grew up together then and had children. Life was always fun when you and Joe came over. He was without a doubt the best brother in law and I truly loved him. We don’t know why God takes some people then they are so young but we will one day. I know in my heart that he is happy now and finally pain free. He is surrounded my his family and we will see him again one day. I love you all and you are in my prayers.

I have a group of friends like no other. Joe was part of this group we called the Mountain crew. There is so much love for one another, and that made life worth living. Although Joe is no longer here in body he will always be with me in spirit and my heart. Joe was a gentle soul most of the time but he could break your stones with the best and was a funny guy when he tried to be angry. He would through up his arms and say, (Do what you want). Joe I loved you then, I love you now and will love you forever. We will always be in reach if Renee needs us. You will be missed. Now it's time to join up with what I call the elite. Say hello to the crew at the card table up there. they will take care of you. Goodbye for now my friend.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
