Joseph J. McAllister

On August 1, 2026, of Mullica Hill, NJ. Age 69. Beloved husband of Gesi (nee Santoleri). Devoted father of Anna McAllister and the late Sean McAllister. Loving grandfather of Sean (Anna Voltaggio), Anthony, and Kayla. Dear son of Anna (nee Kane) and the late Thomas McDevitt. Dear brother of Thomas McDevitt, Karen Loeb (Edward), and the late Brian McDevitt. Loved by nieces and nephews.

Joseph was a proud 1975 graduate of Father Judge High School.  He will be remembered for his quick wit, sense of humor, generous spirit, and love of family.  He was an avid reader whose appreciation for good food was matched only by the pleasure he found in sharing it with family and friends.

Family and friends are welcome to attend his visitation Thursday, August 6th 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Rd., Washington Twp. & Friday, August 7th  10:00 – 11:00 AM at St. Clare of Assisi, Swedesboro. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 AM. Interment St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Swedesboro.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Joe’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
