On October 10, 2009, of Washington Twp., Age 87. Beloved husband of Anne nee Burghart. Devoted father of Joseph, Jr., John Gina and Katherine DePietro. Loving grandfather of 8. Dear brother of Ida Farrell, Lillian Murray Jack and Mary Noonan. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Joseph was a Navy veteran and worked at Curtis Publishing in Philadelphia.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Wednesday 9:30-10:45 am at The Church of the Holy Family, 226 Hurffville Rd., Sewell, NJ, 08080. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 am. Interment St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Chews Landing.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Joseph’s memory may be made to the church.

He Has been so missed, we all will love him forever and ever. He was such a good Grandfather.i miss him dearly. I just hope that he knows in heaven that NO ONE will forget about him.Here's a little quote i wrote for him "If tears could build a stair way, and memories a lane, i'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again."

The loss of our beloved father, and grandfather will be so heavenly missed and felt. And our love for him will go on for ever in our souls. We can find peace to know that he is now in the arms of the angels. love Tony, Katherine, and all of the grandchildren.

Dear Anne, My thoughts are with you at this sad time. I'll always remember Joe taking an interest in my baseball activities years back. May he rest in peace and may you have comfort in his memory.

Oh yeah he was my grandfather i remember in NewJersey we used to always play with ferbies ha ha .oh and i dont know if your talking about my moms Kathrine DePietro side because if you are then she only had 7 kids.

Anne,we are so sorry to hear about the passing of Joe,his smile was always a positive one. He knew that you took great care of him and he loved you for all you did for him. When we visited him at the rehab he was so upbeat,he actually was exercising and his determination was to get well. Mary and I will always remember the two of you at Saturday morning Mass at Holy Family as we sat in front of the two of you, what a witness to the Sacrament of Matrimony, you both showed all who saw you what a marriage is all about, your love for each other..May God bless Joe,you and all your family.
