Joseph C. Rullo

On October 15, 2021, of Washington Twp.  Age 76.  Beloved husband of Donna (nee Burt).  Devoted father of Joseph Rullo, Jr. (Ami), Sean Rullo (Michelle), and the late Janine Hee (Brian).  Loving grandfather of Joseph Rullo, III, Miranda Rullo, Shayla Rullo, Cassidy Rullo, Brendan Hee, and Genevieve Hee.  Proud great-grandfather of Jada Green, Marley Rullo, and Lily Rullo.  Dear brother of Robert Rullo (Kathy), Michael Rullo (the late Beverly), and the late Mary Theresa Randolph.  Loved by many nieces and nephews.

Joe was a member of the United States Army and served in Vietnam assigned to the 588th Combat Engineer Battalion. He loved veterans and continued actively serving them by joining VFW Post 6332 out of Washington Township. Positions held included Quartermaster and also past Post Commander. Joe served for 30 years in Post & District leadership positions, most recently he retired as the District 13 Adjutant after serving in that role for 14 years. He was also a 4th Degree Knight in the Knights of Columbus, Msgr. Leary Council 6296.

Joe retired after 29 years as the Director of Corporate Security, PECO Energy. He enjoyed traveling throughout the U.S. and Europe. He and Donna also cruised to many beautiful locations. Spring training in Clearwater to watch the Phillies was a yearly event shared with his wife and friends.

Family and friends are invited to attend his viewing Friday 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM at SS Peter & Paul RC Church, 362 Ganttown Road, Washington Twp.  Mass of Christian Burial 12:15 PM.  Interment Gloucester County Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, Williamstown.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations to in Joe’s mamory be made to the Janine Hee Memorial Fund,  PO Box 8992, Turnersville, NJ 08012.
