Brian Neri left a message on October 13, 2020:
To all...Joe was a great guy and fun to be around. I have many memories of our family traveling together as well as just hanging out for dinners. He was my dad's best friend and was always there for my family especially when my father passed. The support you gave us during our time of loss will never be forgotten. And so the Neri family is now here for you. I know my dad ran to the front of the line up there to say Joe come on in let me show you around. They had great times and a lot of laughs. May God watch over you and help ease your pain during this difficult time. We love you all!!!!

My wife Dolores and I just learned of the terrible news. Our hearts thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Trombetta family. After the initial, shock the fond memories of growing up with the Trombettas and celebrating all the holidays and special occasions together came pouring in. He's with Mr. and Mrs. T now. He would always make comments about the way Steve , Pat and I would dress or about where we were going on our weekend outings. He'd comment and then that smirk. Well after all it was Saturday night and we weren't exactly going to choir practice. Hey you were Just jealous you weren't coming lol. Sleep in peace my friend and love to your family.

We've lost an incredible person. An outstanding husband, father, grandfather and overall family man. At any New Year's celebration night at Danny and Rita's house I can see Joe standing up to tell another funny story from their high school days. Joe could keep you laughing all night. The value he placed on his family and friends made him very special. We will keep him and the entire Trombetta family in our prayers.
