John D. Jones

On November 30, 2025, of Glassboro. Age 80. Beloved husband of Mary (nee Angelastro). Devoted father of John S. Jones, Mark D. Jones, the late James F. Jones, also a cherished stepfather of Brenda Cunningham (Rob) and Melanie Moore. Loving grandfather of Christopher (Jennifer), Joseph, Jeremy, and Olivia. Proud great-grandfather of Sicily. Dear brother of the late Ellen Kraus, Tommy Jones, and Rebecca Putnick.

John was very well known for his draperies all throughout the Northeast. He loved traveling, going to the shore, camping trips, and most of all his family.

John should always be remembered as a man who took care of his family in every way. He will never be forgotten.

Family and friends are welcome to attend his visitation Saturday, December 6^th 10:15 – 11:15 AM at St. Clare of Assisi Parish/St. Joseph Church, 130 Broad St., Swedesboro. Mass of Christian Burial 11:15 AM.

In lieu of flowers, donations in John’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

To the Best Father anyone could ever ask for. You always put us first no matter what. Loved mommy with all your heart and gave her a life she always dreamed of. Dear John Jr, Mark and family, I used to visit and was Jimmy’s hairstylist as well as your mother, Emma for a very long time. I visited Jimmy in the hospital. I’m saddened to hear about John, a great man who loved his family. I’m so happy he remarried and fell in love again. May God bless all of you and bring you comfort.
