I graduated from Gateway in 1970 and was fortunate to have been taught by him twice. If he was not the best teacher at Gateway, he was in the top two. Among his many interests and loves was rock music -- all rock music, and his knowledge here was deeply respected by us all. He also had a great sense of humor. I remember in Algebra I when someone asked him, "Hey, Mr. Warner, why do we have to take Algebra I?" He shot right back, "so you can take Algebra II." He will be so missed.

So sorry to hear the passing of Jack. Condolences to the family. I had the pleasure of knowing Jack for many years. Our connection was our love of classic cars. He admired my Lincolns, and I loved his Continental Mark II. I serviced his cars for many years. I assembled the car port behind the house for the old red and white Studebaker /Packard. We had a great time talking about the history of our cars. I know Jack had accumulated many parts to one day restore the Continental to its original Dark green glory. Rest in peace my friend.

John was a dear friend and neighbor. He spent many happy occasions at my house with my family. He was so kind and funny. He loved riding in his antique cars and spending time in his music room in his house where he spent a lot of time listening to his music and the news. He loved my son, Bobby’s music and had one of his CD’s which he really enjoyed. He taught physics and advanced math courses at Gateway Regional High School and was loved by many. He loved his dogs and his Villanova Wildcats and the Philadelphia Phillies. He will be sadly missed.
