On April 18, 2017 of Felton, DE, formerly of Washington Twp. Age 70. Beloved husband of Ardie (nee Sage). Devoted father of Muffie Thornton (Gary), Carol Stafford (Randall) and Sandy Steger (Dennis). and Loving grandfather of Jordan, Caitlyn, Ben, Samantha, Jacob, Chloe and John. Proud great-grandfather of Brayden and Max. Dear brother of William, David, Bonnie Roork, Paul and the late Judy Green.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation Monday 10:00-11:00 AM at St. John’s United Methodist Church, 149 Ganttown Rd., Washington Twp. Funeral service 11:00 AM. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, donations in John’s memory may be made to MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper Hospital, c/o of the Cooper Foundation, 2 Aquarium Drive, Suite 305, Camden, NJ 08103.

I am the adopted by proxy granddaughter of bill (william) and Alice Jacobs. Johnny was one person the I admired and would love to know the last barracks that he was a part of.
