John Brendan Elbert

July 30, 1948 to November 3, 2023, of West Deptford. Age 75. Son of the late Edmund Elbert and Marie Firth Elbert.
John is pre-deceased by his sister Eileen Silk and his brother Kevin Elbert. He will be dearly missed by his sister, Kathleen Feldstein.
John passed away peacefully on Friday, November 3, 2023 at the age of 75. He is survived by his wife, Nancy (Peahota)Elbert.
Loving father of Carley Elbert and the late Eric Elbert. His children were his world.

John served proudly in the war in Vietnam in the United States Army. He was an excellent criminal defense attorney for the cities of Philadelphia and New Jersey, and was very passionate about his work.
He studied at Saint Joseph’s University and received his law degree from Rutgers University, School of Law and graduated Magna Cum Laude. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

John’s life will be honored and remembered privately by his family.
