Jennifer R. Saggiomo
(nee Lanni) On December 19, 2023 of Washington Twp. Age 65. Beloved wife of Michael. Devoted mother of Maria Moscufo (Michael III), Kristen Jesperson (Erik), and the late Patricia Marie. Loving grandmother of Michael IV, Gabriella, Nicholas, and Anthony. Dear sister of Joseph Lanni. Loved by nieces and nephews.
Jennifer was born to Pasquale and Carmela Lanni on May 16, 1958. She grew up with her older brother in Philadelphia, PA and Puerto Rico.
In 1976, Jennifer met the love of her life, Michael, at St. Joseph’s University, where they initially met because she was lost trying to find her class. In 1982, they were married and moved to South Jersey to raise their 2 daughters, Maria and Kristen and their multiple golden retrievers. Jennifer spent her days raising her girls, driving them to dance class, helping them with homework, and showering them with love. She enjoyed shopping, getting her hair and nails done, reading romance novels, watching Lifetime movies, and vacationing with her family in Florida and Hawaii.
In 2004, Jennifer began experiencing health symptoms that led to a 20 year challenging health journey. She always remained positive, optimistic and cheerful, regardless of all the difficult health battles she faced. She gained the nickname, Warrior Queen, as she proved to several medical providers she could surpass their expectations.
In 2016, she became a grandmother (known as Mommom) to 4 grandchildren, Michael IV, Gabriella, Nicholas and Anthony. Jennifer loved her grandchildren so much and enjoyed making memories with them when she was home.
Family and friends are invited to attend her viewing Tuesday 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Rd., Washington Twp., and Wednesday 9:00 – 10:00 AM at The National Shrine of St. Rita of Cascia, 1166 South Broad St., Philadelphia, PA 19146. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 AM. Entombment private.
