Wayne Piersanti left a message on January 6, 2018:
of all the laughs we had together, i still think the funniest was a night when we were living together in Fort Lauderdale in the back of The Pipeline store owned by Tony Rantuccio. one night a burglar tried to break into the store through the bathroom window, not knowing that Jeff and I were sleeping in the back of the store. back then, we used to spear fish a lot off of the pier near the store. suffice to say, the poor thief was met with a hail of spears and dived back out the window. Jeff and i gave chase but he got away. we laughed all night. maybe 1969??

One night in 1971(?) we were all sitting around in the Hamper (that's what we called our tastefully appointed apartment- five guys living in a joint behind Yogi's Hoagies) when Jeff sees a guy urinating in our alley. He yells out the window at the guy. Suddenly, a trash can comes through our window. We all emptied out to the alley but the ********* was long gone.
