Jason J. Innella, on April 27, 2020, of Williamstown. Age 48. Beloved husband of Amy (nee Sanford). Devoted father of Anthony and Michael. Cherished son of John and Geraldine (nee Bennett) Ostroman. Adored grandson of Mary Bennett. Dear brother of Patrick Innella and Jonathan Ostroman. Loving son-in-law of Francine and Gary Sanford. Caring brother-in-law of Kelly Rebimbas (John). Proud uncle of Johnny Rebimbas, Alexandria Rebimbas, and Isabella Rebimbas. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and our friends, the family we chose.

Jason’s life will be honored and remembered privately by family due to the health crisis of COVID-19.

Jason was a respected and honored Lieutenant with the New Jersey State Police for 23 years. He graduated from William Paterson University where Amy and Jay met 26 years ago. He also completed a Master’s Degree from Seton Hall. He was a devoted husband and father and a beloved friend to so many. There was never a task too big or small that Jay wouldn’t tackle with all his heart and soul.

Jason’s life will be celebrated with family and friends at a later date.

I knew Jason for over 40 years. We went through grammar and high school together. He was always a great friend. Although we lost touch after high school we had gotten back in touch about 10 years ago. I am heartbroken for the loss of his family and friends. Rest In Peace my friend.

Im very sad. Jay and i reconnected a couple years back after huge gap. We met in college and were in Fraterinty at a state school in NJ. So, Jay was not Frat boy by any means, but certainly a brother, and after 18yrs the same exact man. My life is richer knowing him and i consider myself lucky that he considered me a friend. These a feable words in your time of grief, he was happy and so proud of his life. I will always think of him and smile. He was a Man among Men.

Jason was such a wonder person. Always willing to help somebody. Me and Marvin so miss him. RIP.

I have not seen Jay in years. However throughout the years whenever we would talk about Jay I would remember the smile on his face. He was truly loved by our organization/brotherhood. Honestly more than most because of how genuine he was. I met Jay towards the end of my college experience as he was towards the beginning of his.
