On August 14, 2011, of Pine Grove, PA. Age 61. Beloved daughter of Anthony and Mary Jane nee Rihl. Devoted sister of Mary Ann Jose Michael, Kathryn L’Esperance Kenneth, Paul Fanuka Brett, Thomas Fanuka Lisa, John Fanuka, Nancy Hammond Michael, and the late Margaret Fanuka. Lifelong best friend of Anita Small. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Jane attended American University majoring in communications and marketing. She was a successful marketing manager for Don Beyer Volvo in Falls Church area as well as past president of her own company, Ad Vantage. Jan was passionate about many things, including her family and friends, her animals and her Philly sports teams. Most of all, Jane had an abiding faith in God that will carry her through to eternal life. Jane will be sorely missed by her loving family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation Friday 10:00 to 11:30 am at Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Road, Washington Twp. Memorial Mass 12:00 pm at the Church of the Holy Family, Washington Township. Interment St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Chew’s Landing.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jane’s memory to Carbon County Friends of Animals, 900 Walnut Avenue, Jim Thorpe, PA 18229 or Ruth Steinert Memorial SPCA, 18 Wertz Drive, Pine Grove, PA 17963.

I first met Jane in 1984 when she did her first radio buy for Don Beyer Volvo. For the past 27 years she has not only been one my closet business associates but also one of my dearest friends. Professionally Jane was the best and deserves a lot of credit for our success over the years. I just received the phone call from Anita. It's funny how when you are really good friends, the nearly 30 years since we all hung around together in Virginia seem like barely a moment. I know Jane was grateful for her gift of faith. And it is a gift.
