On October 10, 2021 James Luker, age 51 of Sicklerville passed away with his beloved partner Scott Davis at his side. Devoted father of Stephanie (Cody) Beck, Kaitlin (Kyle) Nelson, and Andrew Davis. Dear brother of LaVonne (Adam) Valiant. Cherished uncle of Durc (April) Sprouse, Rachel Sprouse, Hannah, Benjamin, and Claire Valiant. He will be joining his Father James Luker, Mother Jean Luker, and Sister Julie Sprouse in heaven.

James was loved and will be missed by all who knew him. He was always the life of the party and the first person to plan a birthday party or get together. James worked as a merchandiser for Planned Furniture Promotions traveling the US, sharing his personality and style with everybody. Other than family, his greatest joys were decorating, gardening, and a really good margarita.

James’s life will be honored and remembered privately by his family and friends.

James was a force of nature and was always the life of the party, nobody liked a good margarita more than he did. He was one of the most caring and loving people I have ever met and under his rough exterior was a heart of gold. He loved his family both here in NJ and back in Duluth where he grew up and thought and talked about them often. He had a heart as big as the moon and the world will be a darker place without him in it. I will miss him and love him until the day I die but he is with his mother and sister now with no illness or pain.

Scott, my heartfelt sympathy goes out to you and your family. Though I have never met you, I have heard of many wonderful things about you. James is my first cousin, we grew up together and are the same age. Thank you for being there with him and for all the wonderful years spent with eachother. Sincerely, Bonnie Miller
