Reds, I can't believe I saw this post this week. The first I have heard about you since Hubby Jim and i moved to Fla. 21 years ago. You and I were in the same class of 1986, so you are part of my beginning almost 31 years ago. I hope your journey has been as wonderful as mine has been. It has been a good life!

Jimmy we were delivering presents in Camden and your smile was from Ear to Ear and I noticed the facial expression didnt change from the minute we started to the wee hours of the the night.....You were always worried about the homeless and the less unfortunate....We had similiar ambitions and goals...However you made yours a Realily by staying sober for 30 years straight. That my friend is an accomplishment that will taken into the gates of Heavan and rewarded with your faith and dedication. God bless you Reds, my family is Saddened by your loss and I thankyou for being there for me when i first entered the rooms of AA. You are a legend and a true gentleman. Rest in Peace and please say a few good words for the sick and suffering down here because i know you are resting with the lord. Hoping to see you on the other side my friend. Gold Bless your daughter and your Girlfriend and your extended family. Amen! Billy Van

I didn't know Jimmy very long but feel blessed to have been able to get to know him a little bit when he and his loving partner, my dear friend Mary, went out to lunch with me for my birthday. He had been through a lot in his life and he shared many stories with me. I admired how far he came and the many wonderful things he had achieved. His love for others less fortunate and those struggling with addiction proved what a kind and beautiful soul he had. He has a beautiful place in Heaven now. Mary, Heather and all of Jimmy's loved ones, you are all in my prayers. God bless and may he keep you in the palm of His hand.
