I will greatly miss my sailing buddy. Jim really enjoyed sailing Hobiecat. He was a fantastic sailor We had many a great time sailing off 29th Street beach. One of my fondest memories is when we were sailing, a whale surfaced along side his Hobie. We also had great times racing the annual beach races. Jim was a great friend. He always made me feel so welcomed at his house. I will treasure all the memories I have of Jim.

Rest in Peace, Jim. Rented your Ocean City place for a few years when my daughter was younger. Your last name was kind of hard for her to remember. She used to refer to you as "Mr. Squigley at the shore house." Always enjoyed talking with you on the 29th Street beach.

"Dad" Quigley was a great husband, father, businessman, and friend. He was patient and thoughtful. He had the ability to teach life lessons with only a few words and led by example. When I met him as a student attending school with his daughter, he showed me how to be an adult. He will be missed by all whose lives he touched.
