James Kane passed away unexpectedly on April 7th 2022. Though a failed heart took him away from this world, his loving heart will be forever remembered by his family.
He was born and raised in Staten Island, New York. He grew up an athlete but really exceeded in wrestling where he was state ranked and earned the nickname “Killer Kane”.
Jim started working in a factory at a young age where he met the woman that would become his wife and the mother of his children, Coleen. Jim continued his work in factories as a maintenance mechanic and worked his way up to a maintenance manager. He dedicated over 30 years of his life to his company Berry Plastics.
Jim and Coleen would go on to marry and have a beautiful family of 5 daughters. They spent 45 years together as a loving married couple. Jim was an extremely hard worker who would do anything to take care of his family. When his beloved wife fell ill he happily took on the role of her caretaker until her passing last year. He was above all else a family man.
Jim was an avid golfer and loved to golf in different locations across the country. He loved to take care of his home, his yard and his pool. He loved to travel to the Florida Keys with his wife and family. He was a huge music lover and a talented singer. He loved sports and was a die-hard NY Giants and NY Yankees fan.
Jim was an amazing father and grandfather who loved his girls and grandchildren more than anything. Though he will be forever missed by his family they take solace in knowing he is in good hands reunited with the love of his life.
Family and friends are invited to attend his visitation Wednesday 6:00-7:00 PM at the Egizi Funeral home, 119 Ganttown Rd., Washington Twp. At 7:00 PM there will be a time of sharing thoughts, memories, prayers and love offered by family and friends.
