In Loving Memory of Jim Cole
It is with heavy hearts and fond memories that we announce the passing of Jim Cole, a beloved husband, father, Pop Pop, and great-grandpop. Jim left this world on January 29th, surrounded by the love of his family, after a life well-lived. Jim was a modest man, known for his love of golf, a passion that he shared with his son and grandson, instilling in them a deep appreciation for the sport. His skill on the golf course and the countless hours spent watching matches together created lasting bonds and cherished memories. Beyond the greens, Jim was a skilled carpenter who found joy in building just about anything. His hands crafted not only structures but also relationships, as he was a selfless man always ready to lend a helpful hand to those in need. A devoted grandfather, Jim never took himself too seriously. He was always delighted to play games, color, and play with playdough. He attended countless dance recitals, and showered his beloved grandchildren with their favorite desserts. Family vacations were a source of great happiness for him, especially when he could relax by the beach, the sound of the waves providing a soothing backdrop to long summer naps with his toes in the sand. Jim was a master of order and cleanliness, always ready to assist in the kitchen and with household chores. His selflessness knew no bounds, as he constantly put others before himself, offering help and support whenever it was needed. Jim’s hugs were legendary, conveying a warmth that reflected his kind and gentle soul.
His sense of humor and sarcasm brought laughter to every gathering, creating an atmosphere of joy and camaraderie. In addition to his roles as a family man, Jim served his country as a Private in the U.S. Army, as well as volunteered for numerous years as an EMT. This was a true testament to his commitment to the well-being of others. His service was a gift to the community, and his legacy as a compassionate caregiver will live on in the hearts of those he touched. “Now, at rest with the Lord, Jim, a man of unwavering faith, finds eternal peace in the embrace of the heavenly kingdom he held dear. May his memory be a source of comfort and inspiration to all who knew and loved him. Rest in peace, dear Jim.
