Irma S. Conlin

August 20, 1937 - September 12, 2009

Because of Bill’s career as a sports columnist for the Philadelphia Daily News, Irma became an avid sports fan. She attended Phillies spring training every year since 1967 and became friendly with many sports figures and front office personnel of Philadelphia teams. She traveled to many spots around the world. Irma was also a competitive bowler. She was a Realtor in Washington Twp. and was known for her personal touch and generosity to numerous organizations.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation Thursday eve. 7:00 – 9:00 pm and Friday 8:15 – 9:15 am at the EGIZI FUNERAL HOME, 119 Ganttown Rd., Washington Twp. Memorial Service 10:00 am at St. Charles Borromeo RC Church, Washington Twp. Interment will be private.

Having Irma as my friend was a gift I will always treasure. Some people have so called friends, I had a TRUE friend. She will be missed by so many. I do know heaven is a lively place now that Irma has arrived.

I learned a lot from Irma. I learned about Real Estate and I learned where to get a great sandwich, but mostly I learned how to enjoy life. My life was better having known her, she will be missed.

Pete, My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family at this sad time in your lives. Stay strong.

When life was good.. irma was there to celebrate.. when life threw some curves.. irma was there...and when life was just ordinary.. it was really not so ordinary BECAUSE IRMA WAS THERE.... There are no words to express the impact that Irma had on our family. Your free spirit and good nature will be remembered even when you wont be there.. Dear Conlin family, I was sad to hear of Irma's passing. I will never forget growing up across the street and always going over to visit. Irma was such a sweet lady and she will not be forgotten.

Mr. Conlin, Kim, Bill & Pete I'm so sorry for the loss of your Wife and Mother. I'm glad i got to know Irma back in our High School days. She put up with all us kids piled in her house night after night. Irma also help me buy my first home, not to mention all the laughs we had while she was showing us houses. Again, my condolences to your whole family.

Together, the Conlin and DeLong families enjoyed watching our children at many township sporting events. Irma's presence will be missed, but we never lose the people we love, even to death. Their love leaves an indelible imprint in our memories. May these memories help you get through tomorrow.

To the family of Irma Conlin, I offer my sincere condolences for your loss of Irma. I always considered Irma a good friend and fellow realtor. We attended real estate school togeher, and she played a major role in getting me through the course. She was always the ultimate professional in every way. I am sorry that I am not able to attend the services for Irma, due to the fact that I am presently in Jefferson Hospital recovering from a double hip replacement.
