Irene M. Pinto
(nee Cipparone) On July 24, 2026, of Washington Twp. Age 82. Beloved wife of Louis A. Devoted mother of Renee Sentman (Stephen) and Frank Pinto (Sandi). Loving grandmother of Tyler (Abigal), Christina (Colin) and Brianna. Proud great-grandmother of Vivienne, Anna and Grace. Dear sister of John and Nicholas Cipparone and the late Elizabeth Cipparone and Caroline Chirico.
Deeply loved by her family, Irene was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Growing up in South Philadelphia, she and Lou met when they were just 13 and 14 years old and were never apart. They began dating two years later and, after a five-year courtship, were married at Stella Maris Church. This September would have marked their 63rd wedding anniversary.
Over the years, Irene and Lou hosted countless family dinners and enjoyed many vacations together, with Hawaii being Irene’s favorite destination. For many years, they also had a vacation home in the Poconos, where Irene was an avid skier.
Irene was an excellent cook, and Lou often said he could eat her macaroni every night. When their children were young, she lovingly made Halloween costumes and baked countless Italian cookies. She kept score in the dugout during Renee’s softball games and was one of Frank’s biggest cheerleaders at his football games and wrestling matches. Her dedication to her children’s interests continued throughout their lives.
When she was blessed with grandchildren, Irene became deeply involved in their lives. She never passed up an opportunity to babysit, and as they grew older, she could almost always be found cheering them on at their sporting events and other activities.
Family and friends are invited to attend her visitation Thursday 10:30 AM-12:00 PM at the Church of the Holy Family, 226 Hurffville Road, Washington Twp. Mass of Christian Burial 12:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Irene’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society
