It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Hugh James Duffy, who departed this life on August 24, 2026, at the age of 83. Born on June 30, 1943, in the vibrant city of Philadelphia. Hugh was a devoted family man.

He leaves behind his cherished wife, Patricia Duffy (nee Holland), who stood by his side through life’s many seasons. He was the proud father of Michelle Coleman and her husband, Robert, and his son, Hugh “Butch” Duffy. His legacy lives on in his beloved grandchildren, Madison and Aiden, who brought immense joy to his life. Hugh’s memory will also be treasured by his sisters, Eleanor Panichelli and Connie Vives.

He was a beloved son of the late Hugh and Josephine Duffy.

Hugh resided in Washington Township at the time of his passing, where he lived a life marked by dedication and hard work. He built a successful career in construction, earning the respect and admiration of all who had the pleasure of working with him.

In accordance with his family’s wishes, services for Hugh James Duffy will be held privately. The family appreciates the support and condolences of all who knew him and invites friends to remember Hugh in their own personal way.

Hugh James Duffy will be dearly missed by all who knew him, but his spirit will remain in the hearts of his loved ones forever.
