Helen Wegmann
(nee Rau). On February 7, 2026, of Washington Twp. Age 94. Beloved wife of the late John T. Wegmann for 51 years. Devoted mother of Linda Murray (Edward), Tom Wegmann (Cindy), Patty Wegmann, Dan Wegmann (the late Sue), Dotty Hardy (the late Ken), and Jackie Wegmann. Loving grandmother of John (Mayumi), Paul (Jen), Krissy, Ashley, Taylor (Eddie), Brooks, Matthew (Wil), and Sara (Ethan). Proud great-grandmother of Alexander, William, Ada, and Emrys. Aunt of Larry, Danny, Mike and the late Greg. Cherished daughter of the late George and Ione (nee Patterson) Rau. Dear sister of the late George, Charles, and Herbert. Sister-in-law of the late Joyce Rau Coleman.
Member of the American Sewing Guild “Sew What” group, the Washington Township Senior Center, and had a group of on-line quilting friends for over 30 years. Helen enjoyed quilting, knitting, and all needlecrafts. She was an avid reader, great at solving crossword puzzles and playing Scrabble, and enjoyed Thursday Bingo at the Senior Center and trips to the casinos with her daughters. She loved spending time with her family and her beloved dog Shadow. She was the Best Mom Ever!
She grew up in Missouri, moved to New York City as a newlywed, and eventually moved to Washington Township, where she has resided for 60 years.

Helen’s life will be honored and remembered privately by her family.
