We will always remember Helen. She was one of the most generous kind persons that we have ever met. I can still hear calling my name across the development. Helen thoroughly enjoyed people. Her love of animals was a testament to how kind she was. She opened her home to so many. Helen missed her beloved John so much. May God give you the happiness you deserve. We will always think of you. May your family find comfort in their family and friends. God Bless

Julie, So weird that I happened to come back to this site. I was clearing out old emails from work and found the link. Was drawn really to look at this page as I still miss her so much. You are right, she was my biggest advocate, and the world is lonely without her here. Thank you so much for reaching out. With our children and now for us grandchildren, all growing so quickly, we need to try and get together one of these days. Hope to see you soon! Helen

Dot, Thank you for message about Mom. Sorry to hear about your Mom passing. So many happy memories of your Mom as well. Dementia is a sad illness because it isolates people. Mom lost touch with so many people who she really cared about. She would be so happy to know you reached out. Take care of yourself as well. Helen
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Hi Helen, So sorry to hear the passing of your mom. I still remember her voice and laugh, loved both your parents. I remember your mom watching us as kids and she made hot dogs boiled and sliced on white bread for us and asked what I wanted on mine. I told her mayo I was afraid she would make fun of me but she went right on making it for me. I always remember her smiling. Last time I saw your parents was December 2004 at my brother Jacks funeral. She even made us laugh that day too eased to pain of our loss. My mom (Isabelle) only saw your parents once after that. We found out several years later mom had dementia, so I understood why she was not reaching out to friends anymore. Mom passed February 13th this year. Please take care, Dot (Dottie Ann) Carr

To the Cunningham family we send our deepest condolences to all. Helen was so sweet to us when we moved in to Sunny Estates 13 years ago.We sat outside at their house with John& Helen and we must have had 10 people sometimes sitting around in chairs that John& Helen provided for us. Helen's laugh was the best she would chuckle out loud.We had fun doing lunch on Thursdays each month and sometimes Helen would invite us over and made the best meatballs(her secret recipe,we won't tell on you Helen). We will miss her and John they were the best neighbors in Sunny Estates. May the Lord Bless you and keep you in His loving care! With much love ,Alex&Mary DiAgosta ps;we just saw a large bird sitting on Helen& John's house and he had a large wing span and his underside had a reddish color to it.Helen that was for you to say goodbye to all of us at Sunny estates,Thanks for the memories.

Hey, Yel... Out of the blue, I thought of you and typed in Helen Cunningham...So sorry that this site is the first to pop up. I looked very carefully at the photo of your mom to find her spirit as I remember it, and I could hear her voice saying, " My Helen this...., my Helen that...." She was SO proud of you, maybe that's why 252 Crestmont Avenue was one of my favorite addresses:) "So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. 2Cor 4:18 In Him, Julie Jensen
