Tio Hector was one of my favorite people. He was always so sweet, funny, and a good listener. The last time I saw him was in June and I feel extremely lucky that we were able to laugh, eat good food, and reminisce about life. Those are the memories that will never fade. I won’t let them. Rest in eternal peace uncle. Love you 💙

Hector’s passing has broken my heart. He was such a dear mentor and friend. I wouldn’t be the man I am today without his support. Hector loved his family and community with all of his heart. Our deepest condolences to the Arroyo and Ortiz families. 🙏🏽❤️

My dad, Hector ❤️ Although I may not be his biological daughter, I have been blessed to have him as my dad almost my entire life. He raised me, loved me, and helped shape me into the person I am today. He was my dad in every way that truly matters, and I will forever be grateful that I got to be a part of his life. He raised both my sisters and me as well as my brother, and the love and memories we share with him will always hold a special place in our hearts. Words cannot express how devastated we are by his sudden passing. My husband, our two daughters, and I will miss him more than words could ever explain. He loved my girls so much, and I am so thankful they were blessed to experience his love. It breaks my heart knowing they will have to grow up without him here, but I will always make sure they know how much their pop pop loved them. Dad, thank you for raising me, loving me, and being such an important part of my life. Thank you for the memories, the lessons, and the love that I will carry with me forever. I wish we had more time, more conversations, more hugs, and more opportunities to tell you how much you mean to us. I never imagined having to say goodbye so soon, and my heart aches knowing that you are no longer here with us. Although we are heartbroken, we are so incredibly blessed to have been a part of your beautiful life and to have experienced the love you gave so freely. Your kindness, generosity, and the love you had for your family will never be forgotten. You may no longer be physically here with us, but you will live on through the memories we cherish, the stories we share, and the love you left behind. I love you forever, Dad. You will always be my dad, and nothing will ever change that. Until we meet again, may you rest peacefully in God’s loving arms. I find comfort in knowing that one day, we will see each other again in Heaven. You will be deeply missed and forever loved by your daughter, your son-in-law, and your two granddaughters Naomi and Alani. ❤️🕊️🙏🏼
